I wasn’t very interested in it in my younger days: Bob Waterer
Bob Waterer was not interested in his Hawkesbury Aboriginal heritage when young. When his sister, Agnes, recently read about Biddy Giles, a Gai-mariagal Aboriginal woman, she traces their family history and enables the author to put together unknown pieces of Biddy’s children’s story – Agnes and Bob’s great grandmother and great uncles. He has now visited Biddy’s grave with his family.
