William Burd – my Darkinjung Ancestor: Gavi Duncan

Darkinjung man, William Burd, also known as William Bird (b.c. 1828) was a boy when his family died and Lancelot Threlkeld, a missionary, took him in and raised and educated him. Uncle Gavi Duncan, William’s great, great, great grandson, shares his story.
